Pink Boat at Lake Las Vegas: Plan Your Celebration

Plan a Pink Boat celebration at Lake Las Vegas with whole-boat pricing, guest limits, included essentials and practical packing details.

Lake Las Vegas Water Sports offers a self-captained Pink Electric Boat rental from $449 for 3 hours for up to 9 guests, priced for the whole boat rather than per person. This separate rental runs year-round and is suited to birthdays, bachelorettes and girls' days. A 4-hour option is also offered. Boat operation instructions, a Bluetooth stereo, life jackets and a wristband for every guest at check-in are included. Food and drinks are welcome, but coolers and ice chests are not allowed. Hats, balloons and accessories are not included, though you can bring your own. The driver must be at least 21 with a valid ID and credit card. No swimming from the boat, docking or beaching is allowed.

Start with your group and celebration plan

The Pink Boat is a separate rental, not a color selection within the 2-hour Regular and XL rental. Choose it around its three-hour outing and nine-guest limit. If your celebration includes children, children over 3 count as guests. Set your guest list before organizing food, drinks and celebration touches.

For a birthday or bachelorette, give each person a simple task: one handles the playlist, another organizes snacks, and the designated driver prepares their ID and credit card. Use the birthday and bachelorette planning guide to organize the occasion.

Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early with your confirmation email, ID and booking card. Every guest must complete the waiver before check-in. Parking is free in the Monte Lago parking garage; check in at the office at 20 Costa Di Lago Unit 130, Henderson, NV 89011.

Pack a celebration menu without a cooler

Build your menu around food that travels easily and does not need chilled storage during the outing. Whole fruit, crackers and individually packaged snacks keep preparation straightforward. Leave foods that require refrigeration for another part of your celebration rather than planning around an ice chest.

For the Pink Boat rental, organize food and drinks in manageable bags instead of borrowing the cooler setup used for the Regular or XL boats. Pack napkins and a bag for collecting wrappers so your group can keep its belongings together throughout the rental.

Keep birthday treats simple to serve. Individual portions avoid the extra plates, cutting tools and serving steps that come with a larger shared dessert. Assign one person to organize the food list so nine guests do not each arrive carrying a full party spread.

Give the three hours a loose rhythm

A celebration does not need a minute-by-minute schedule. Divide the outing into a few flexible moments: settle in after the operating instructions, enjoy snacks and conversation, then leave room for group photos and a birthday toast.

Prepare a playlist before arriving at Lake Las Vegas. With Bluetooth stereo onboard, choosing the music ahead of time keeps the group from spending its outing debating every song. Ask each guest for two or three favorites for a personal mix.

For photos, designate a passenger as the photographer rather than distracting the person driving. Keep any celebration accessories together in one bag, and plan pictures around the people and occasion instead of bringing an elaborate setup.

Match your celebration to the season

The Pink Electric Boat runs year-round, but choosing a date also means thinking about daylight. All boats must return by sunset. Published rental hours describe the first and last rental start times, not closing times, and the final available start can be earlier for your boat’s duration.

For a three-hour celebration, avoid treating the last listed start as an automatic fit. The same consideration applies when planning around the four-hour option. Keep the rest of your day flexible until your rental time is set, especially if you are coordinating guests arriving separately.

If your group wants to combine the boat outing with other Lake Las Vegas activities, account for seasonal differences. Kayak rentals, paddleboard rentals and Pilates on the Dock pause from November through March and return in spring. A winter Pink Boat celebration should not rely on those activities as part of its itinerary.

Keep everyone working from the same plan

Create one group message with the rental date, booked start time, office address and a clear arrival target. Distinguish the meeting time from the boat’s departure time so guests do not mistake one for the other.

Ask guests to handle their waivers individually before check-in rather than leaving that task to the birthday person or bachelorette organizer. Put one person in charge of sharing the confirmation details, while each guest remains responsible for their own preparation.

For anyone joining only the land-based portion of the celebration, arrange that gathering separately from the rental. With no docking or beaching allowed during the outing, a mid-rental shore meetup does not belong in the plan.

Settle the shared budget before booking

Decide whether one host is paying or guests are splitting the rental cost. The Pink Boat starts at $449 for the whole boat, not per person. Use the amount shown when booking to work out each person’s contribution rather than treating the starting price as your final group budget.

Keep food, drinks and any celebration accessories in a separate spending list. If the outing is a birthday gift for one guest, agree beforehand whether everyone else will cover that person’s share. A short, clear message about costs keeps payment questions out of the celebration itself.

Have a plan if the guest list grows

Nine guests is the Pink Boat’s limit, so an expanding invitation list calls for a different decision, not an extra passenger. For a group of 10–12 that wants to stay together on one boat, the XL Electric Boat accommodates up to 12 guests and starts at $189 for a two-hour rental. It is a different rental from the three-hour Pink Boat experience.

Before inviting additional friends, decide which matters more to your group: the Pink Boat or room for a larger party. Keep the invitation aligned with the boat you actually book.

Take the next step

Once your guest count, budget and preferred date are settled, head to the Pink Boat rental page to plan your booking.
